Goblets

What of our regret in the wilderness?
My sense of celebration intensifies

the heat of loss in the woods. Forgive
me for floating my cat over the ice to you.

The dim vista enlarges to encompass
the room, as the woods grow to enshroud

a family house. A grove, completely frozen.
I’m engorging at the thought of the mountain.
